Today we were planning on creating a massive charcuterie board and snacking on it all day. But the more I thought about it the less I liked the idea. Having food sit out all day is never a good plan. Also, getting enough food for a massive charcuterie board adds up entirely too fast in this economy. Instead, I decided to do an omelette bar.
This is a great way to clear out the fridge and I got a change to work on my knife skills as I got to cut a lot of different veggies. As I was chopping the veggies and cooking up and bacon, I started wondering how I get everyone’s omelette order.
I realized I would have to write everything down as remembering multiple items for the omelette was going to be impossible for my poor brain, not to mention how many eggs everyone wanted, and if they wanted toast. Since everyone was still sleeping and I had some time, I decided to hop on Canva and work up a quick menu everyone could fill out for me.
