Hi, I’m Star!
By day, I’m a technical writer with two beautiful cats and an adorable husband. But by night and on the weekends, I am busy in the kitchen cooking up all kinds of delights! I also have the ability to naturally wake up at 5-6am. It’s kind of like a super power.
I started a culinary blog to track my journey through a culinary art program. But that didn’t pan out. However, the blog was so much fun, I decided to keep it up as I keep learning, cooking, and making all the dishes dirty.
My bestie, Dawn, came up with the name, Starlight Gourmet. I had been toying with the idea of doing a culinary blog well before she ever said anything and when she mentioned the name, I was absolutely in love! A few minutes after she told me, I owned the domain name. The rest, as they say, is history.
