First of all, my mom gave me these star cookie cutters a while ago and I finally got a chance to use them. Turns out, they’re older than I am.
Anyway, I’ve never been a big fan of shortbread cookies. I find them kind of dry. But I found this recipe on Sugar Spun Run and it used powdered sugar. I was… intrigued.
They turned out super delicious! I dipped them in melted chocolate as well. Dan actually preferred them that way, despite insisting he only wanted plain cookies.
